With both the use and pressure on groundwater systems accelerating world-wide, the need of better understanding fundamental aspects of groundwater flow and solute transport is increasing. Clearly, gaining understanding of such “basics” at a deeper level is quite challenging! Therefore we have chosen as theme for this year’s mini-symposium Innovation in understanding groundwater “basics”.
