IAH-NL is proud to support the Hydrogeology in the Netherlands and More symposium, hosted at Wageningen University on Friday, 21 November 2025. This one-day, Gordon-style event will bring together researchers from across the Netherlands and neighbouring countries to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and explore the latest advances in hydrogeology.
The program features a rich mix of invited talks, poster sessions, and informal discussions, creating an open and interactive environment for exchange. A highlight of the day will be the prestigious Darcy Lecture, delivered this year by Dr. Grant Ferguson (University of Saskatchewan) on the theme: “Living Fossils: Ancient Groundwaters in the Anthropocene.”

The main language of the conference is Dutch. Presentations will preferably be given in Dutch, but speakers who feel more comfortable presenting in English are warmly encouraged to do so.
