IAH and data protection
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It applies to processing of personal data carried out by organisations operating within the EU and will be implemented on 25 May 2018. Personal data may be, for example, information relating to an individual, including private, professional or public life. It includes name, contact details, photos, bank details, or a computer’s IP address.
IAH.org collects various data to help them understand the needs of their members, supporters and users, enabling them to provide their community with better services.
